Aussie 'Lona-Misa' Plant-Based Goes To Bali's Revamped Kuta Social Club

Fine plant-based dining like nothing before! South Yarra's Lona-Misa teams up with this Kuta icon now in the capable hands of the Ovolo Hotel Group.


Featuring a five-course plant-based Latin-inspired dinner guests will experience Lona-Misa Chef Santiago Ospina's 'rebellious approach to vegan food on the roof top at the Kuta Social Club inside the Mamaka Hotel.

Source: Lona-Misa - Peri Peri Cauliflower – Fire-roasted cauliflower, basted in fermented peri peri sauce, served with chimichurri and herbed pangratto.


Served as the Bali sunsets, the fare will open with Fried Olives stuffed with queso fresco. followed by two Lona-Misa signature dishes, Roasted Padron & Manchego Croquette – Crispy bechamel croquetas, filled with spicy padron pepper and vegan cheese, served with aioli, along with Sandia Nikkei – Smoked watermelon, panca chilli, leche de tigre, tamarind, Nikkei chalaca, and fresh avocado.

Some of the protein Ingredients for the five courses will come from Bloom Providores which already has a blossoming relationship with Lona-Misa located inside the Ovolo Hotel in Melbopurne's South Yarra district.


So here's the complete menu lineup for the two night event 28th and 29th of April, 2023.


This is what one of the dessert courses looks like - Pina Colada – Coconut cream mousse, compressed crispy coconut, pineapple jelly, squish sable, finger lime.
