The World Plant-Based Innovation Awards 2023 shortlist has been announced and on it is a small Queensland, Australia plant-based protein company called Fable Food Co, with its pulled mushroom meat.

The food and beverage awards, now in its fourth year, showcases the advancements in the plant-based F and B sector coveting meat, protein, and seafood and a range of consumer products.
Judges will now face the challenging task of evaluating the most outstanding innovations within the plant-based industry.
In the plant-based meat, protein and seafood product categories, notables have emerged, ranging from revolutionary plant-based meat alternatives to myco protein and innovative seafood products.
Fable Food’s Fable Meaty Pulled Mushrooms available online in Australia, Singapore, the UK and Canada in 250gm and 1kg packs is one of six finalists in the plant-based protein category.
