DabbaDrop is quickly becoming a favorite among Londoners, offering a fresh and exciting approach to in-home or office plant-based dining. This innovative plant-based tiffin delivery service combines the charm of traditional Indian dabbas (stainless steel tiffin boxes) with a modern, sustainable twist, delivering delicious, dairy, and animal-free meals right to your doorstep.
Founded by neighbours Renee Williams and Anusha Ahuja (shown left), DabbaDrop has successfully crowdfunded their unique business into existence with a 75% less carbon footprint than a regular Indian take-away. They literally hit the ground running up monumental 'Earth Friendly' reasons why Londoners should use their service.
Each week, DabbaDrop’s menu features a different country’s cuisine, allowing customers to embark on a global culinary adventure without leaving their homes. From the vibrant spices of Indian curries to the rich flavours of Mediterranean, Japanese and Vietnamese dishes, there’s always something new and exciting to try.
The variety and quality of the food have made it a hit among both vegans and non-vegans alike, appealing to anyone looking to enjoy healthy, tasty meals. What truly sets DabbaDrop apart is its commitment to sustainability. So far nearly 200,00 meals have been prepared and delivered and now Dabba Drop is heading UK wide.
All meals are delivered in reusable tiffin tins by electric bikes, significantly reducing plastic waste and carbon emissions. This eco-friendly approach has resonated with Londoners who are increasingly conscious of their environmental impact.
