Kombucha with Christmas Spirit as Remedy Drinks Brews Festive Flavours for a Cause

As the festive season rolls in, healthy food and drink brands are infusing Christmas cheer into their products, and Australia's Remedy Drinks is leading the charge.

The kombucha company has unveiled two limited-edition purely Christmas flavours – Merry Cherry and Pavlova – yes Pav - and both crafted to refresh during 'down-under' summer celebrations. But there’s more to this launch than just festive indulgence, it’s part of a larger mission to support Australians in need.

Handcrafted at Remedy’s five Green Star-rated fermentary in Melbourne, these festive kombuchas bring a guilt-free twist to Christmas indulgence. Each bottle is sugar-free, with only nine calories, allowing consumers to savour the holiday flavours without compromising on health. According to Remedy Drinks COO and head brewer, Steve Byrne, the Festive Batch range embodies their philosophy of "Brewing for Better."

“Merry Cherry and Pavlova are designed to feel indulgent while being completely guilt-free,” says Steve Byrne. “They’re not just a treat for the taste buds – every sip contributes to a meaningful cause.”

This year, Remedy Drinks has partnered with Coles in its annual Christmas Appeal to support SecondBite, a food rescue organisation tackling food insecurity in Australia. For every Festive Batch bottle sold, 20 cents will be donated to SecondBite, with 10 cents each contributed by Remedy Drinks and Coles.

Funds raised will help SecondBite rescue quality, surplus food from growers, manufacturers, and retailers, redistributing it to over 1,000 community organisations nationwide.

Available exclusively at Coles stores and online until December 24, each 330ml Festive Batch kombucha is priced at $4.30. Shoppers can also purchase a case from Remedy's website for $42, ensuring $2.40 goes to SecondBite.

So, whether you’re sipping Merry Cherry or Pavlova, this Christmas, you can toast to both health and goodwill. Merry Christmas!
