In what can only be described as a stampede of investor enthusiasm, Dutch cultivated meat pioneer Mosa Meat has blown past its crowdfunding goal in just 24 minutes, raking in €2.4 million at lightning speed. The campaign, hosted on Crowdcube, is now sitting at over 150% of its initial target, backed by more than 800 eager investors and it’s not done yet.

Mosa Meat has placed a cap on how much it can raise, meaning those still hoping to snag a piece of the future of beef will need to act fast. The company strongly recommends investing early before the funding window slams shut.

This fundraising sprint illustrates growing consumer and investor belief in Mosa Meat’s mission to revolutionise meat production. With regulatory applications underway in the EU and Singapore, and additional filings planned for the UK and Switzerland, Mosa Meat is edging closer to making its lab-grown beef available to the masses

While the cash injection will fuel research, marketing, and regulatory approvals, Mosa Meat is also focused on building a loyal community of early supporters. “Crowdfunding allows us to invite our earliest supporters to truly become part of the Mosa Meat journey,” the company said in a statement.

For now, the message is clear; invest early, or risk missing out on one of the biggest shifts in the future of food.
