Australian national airline, Qantas passengers heading to India just scored a hydration upgrade - RAW C’s 330ml coconut water has been picked up for the Aussie airline’s long-haul route, giving travelers a natural way to stay refreshed at cruising altitude.

“We have our 330ml on business class on the A380, mainly to the USA and London flights,” says RAW C Founder Scott Mendelsohn. “They just let us know they wanted to try it on the Indian routes as obviously, coconut water is great for hydration.”
It’s no secret flying long haul turns passengers into human raisins as cabin humidity levels sit at around 10-20%, drier than most deserts. Dehydration can cause fatigue, headaches, and even jet lag to hit harder. While airlines push water, coconut water offers something extra—natural electrolytes like potassium and magnesium, which help balance fluids and keep muscles from cramping up.
And let’s not forget the India connection. Coconut water is a staple in Indian culture, making it a natural fit for flights between the two countries. Now, RAW C’s product is bringing that same hydration boost to the skies.
Qantas, like all major airlines, is under pressure to improve passenger wellness, because let’s be honest, no one enjoys stumbling off a 14-hour flight feeling like they’ve been hit by a truck. With RAW C in the mix, flyers now have a hydrating alternative free of artificial sugars and additives.
Whether it's business class on an A380 to the States or economy to Mumbai, one thing’s clear: inflight hydration just got an all-Aussie upgrade.
